Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Ingenzio collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use Chefsito.
Effective date: July 12, 2026
Who we are
Chefsito is provided by Ingenzio (“we”, “us”, or “our”). For privacy questions, contact us at support@chefsito.app.
Information we collect
If you create an account, we process your name, email address, username, password credential, account identifiers, and session information. To create and refine recipes, you may provide cooking requests, ingredients, cuisine and meal preferences, allergies, dislikes, available equipment, skill level, cooking goals, servings, time limits, and measurement preferences. We store recipes you choose to save and the information needed to synchronize them. If you enable recipe reminders, we process an Apple Push Notification service device token, time zone, preferred delivery time, language, cooking persona, platform, and delivery status.
Information stored on your device
Chefsito stores cooking and notification preferences on your device. Saved recipes may also be stored locally so they remain available in the app. Authentication cookies and session information are stored by the app to keep you signed in.
How we use information
We use information to operate Chefsito, authenticate accounts, generate and personalize recipe ideas, refine recipes, synchronize recipes you choose to save, deliver optional reminders, provide support, maintain security, and improve reliability. Our systems record limited operational information such as request routes, status, timing, request identifiers, selected AI model, token usage, and errors. We do not use this information for cross-app advertising or tracking.
AI processing
On supported devices, Chefsito can use Apple Foundation Models to process some clarification questions and recipe concepts on the device. Requests processed through our servers are sent to OpenRouter and may be processed by the model provider selected for that request. Relevant cooking requests, preferences, recipe content, and refinement messages may be included. Do not submit information you would not want processed to generate a recipe. AI output can be inaccurate; always use your own judgment, especially regarding allergens, cooking temperatures, and food safety.
How information is stored and shared
Account and saved-recipe information is stored using service providers that support Chefsito, including hosting, database, authentication, notification-delivery, and AI-processing providers. We share information only as needed to operate these services, protect Chefsito, comply with law, or respond to valid legal requests. We do not sell personal information.
Retention and deletion
We keep primary account information and saved recipes while your account is active. You can delete the primary account, its authentication records, active sessions, and saved recipes in the app through Settings → Delete Account. Some device preferences, notification-registration information, operational records, or backup copies may remain after account deletion where needed to operate, secure, restore, or comply with legal obligations. See our Account Deletion page for the current process.
Your choices
You may update cooking and notification preferences, disable notifications, choose not to save recipes, or delete your account. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information. Contact us at support@chefsito.app.
Children
Chefsito is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
We may update this policy as Chefsito evolves. We will update the effective date when we do.
